Nicely detailed Hei Tiki made from stunning NZ Serpentine Pounamu, very nice statement piece. Hand carved locally by Malcolm Hooper.
Hei Tiki is a symbol of fertility and good luck. It is also said to bring the wearer strength of character, allowing one to be loyal, clear headed and perceptive. The Tiki will often be depicted with its tongue poking out for protection.
NZ Serpentine rich black and green hues, is said to be a wonderful stone to create a strong connection to Papatuanuku, aiding in meditation and spiritual exploration. Clears the chakras and opens the crown, creating balance and a sense of control over one's life. Helps to direct healing energy to problem areas
Pounamu or Greenstone is regarded as a stone sacred to the gods by the Maori of New Zealand. As a Taonga -meaning treasured, and it should be worn with respect and pride.
